Middle School Personal Growth and Choice

As young adolescents grow towards increased self-reliance, the curriculum at Middle School balances core studies with a wide choice of electives.

Exciting opportunities are available for students to develop their artistic potential through a full range of studies in the Visual and Performing Arts. These areas generate a rich variety of extra-curricular activities with students actively and enthusiastically participating in:

  • The Concert Band
  • Choirs
  • Drama productions
  • The College Musical, and
  • Art exhibitions.

A large Instrumental Music Program caters for over 300 students. Technology based electives develop confidence and practical skills in Electronics, Wood, Mechanics, Food and Textiles. Student exhibits are consistent winners at the Royal Melbourne and other regional shows.

The physical development of students is well catered for through the strong Outdoor Education, Physical Education and Sports programs. Past students include world class athletes like Linley Frame (swimming) and Kirsty Marshall (skiing).

Recent sports champions include Zeena McLaughlin and Trudi McIntosh (Commonwealth Games gold medallists in Gymnastics).
