Junior School personnel

The primary aim of the Junior School is to give each student the support they need to have a positive transition from primary to secondary school.

A Sub School Leader manages the Junior School, working closely with year 7 and 8 Student Managers. Each year 7 class has a Significant Teacher who is the Form Teacher, and also teaches the class for at least two subjects. This teacher works closely with the Sub School Coordinators to oversee the students and provide pastoral care.

Where possible, year 8 classes also experience a Significant Teacher. A member of the Principal class is responsible for the Junior School. This structure allows the school to operate a comprehensive discipline and welfare system.
