Mentone Girls’ Secondary College is an exemplary government girls’ school established in 1955. We have a rich tradition of innovation in teaching and learning and strive to ensure that every student achieves their personal best. We value respect, compassion, independence and tolerance and provide opportunities for students to contribute to local and global communities.

At Mentone Girls’ Secondary College, each student will experience a safe, friendly and caring environment which fosters resilience and initiative. We acknowledge that the learning development of every student is unique and we are committed to ensuring we remain focused differentiating the curriculum to meet their needs.

We have excellent physical resources to support continuing improvement in learning and teaching. The STEAM Connect Centre brings together a visual art and technology in a new building. Our 1:1 technology program enables contemporary teaching and learning practices with students able to create, communicate and collaborate in a digital environment. We are committed to ensuring that we remain at the forefront of ICT innovation to support teaching and learning in a 21st century environment.

“Virtute et Labore” – through courage and work – our girls will achieve successful futures.
